  • Gain tools to manage intersectional experiences related to race, gender, and socioeconomic background.
  • Develop essential capabilities in communication, team management, problem-solving, and decision-making.

Who it’s for

This programme is ideal for individuals from ethnically diverse backgrounds who are: 

  • New to leadership or aspiring to step into a management role 
  • Seeking a supportive, identity-affirming learning environment 
  • Ready to build confidence, capability, and community 

Entry requirements

Participants will need to have responsibility for managing individuals, a team, or elements of a project.

Additionally:

  • Those without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this prior to taking the End-Point Assessment as part of the programme.
  • For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement, the apprenticeship’s English and maths minimum requirement is Entry Level 3.
  • A British Sign Language (BSL) qualification is an alternative to the English qualification for those whose primary language is BSL.

This Level 3 programme is designed specifically for aspiring or early-career managers from the global majority, those who may face unique challenges in navigating leadership within UK workplaces. 

The programme offers a welcoming space for participants to discuss and overcome challenges they may face as global majority managers.

Through a combination of expert-led masterclasses, personalised coaching, and digital learning, participants will explore key leadership principles while also addressing the systemic and cultural barriers that can impact progression.
